Long Term Hemodialysis Catheter - PDLC

Amecath Permathane Dual Lumen Catheter is available as a long-term hemodialysis catheter for adult usage.

• The catheter is made of a soft, long-term radiopaque carbothane material to increase patient comfort.
• The catheter has a Step tip design that reduces blood recirculation to guarantee maximum flow and a cuff to secure the device more firmly and reduce the risk of catheter-associated infections.

PDLC is offered in 2 different shapes: straight tube and extension lines and pre-curved tube and straight extension lines to respond to the patient's anatomy and comfort, the cosmetic appearance, and the insertion site.

Catheters size ranges between 12 Fr to 16 Fr and length ranges between 16 Cm to 50 Cm. Catheters are inserted using the Modified Seldinger Technique using over dilator peel away sheath–Forward Tunneling. The kit includes a nitinol guidewire with dispenser and a Y-connector by default.

The main purpose of Amecath Long Term Haemodialysis Catheter kits is for use in attaining long term access for Haemodialysis, or apheresis. Sterile single use device indicated for use in attaining long term access for Haemodialysis or apheresis. They may be inserted percutaneously and are ideally placed in the internal jugular vein. Although these catheters may be inserted into the subclavian or femoral vein, the internal jugular is the preferred site. The pre-curved shape is intended for lower internal jugular vein placement.

X Split Dual Lumen Hemodialysis Catheter - PXDLC

The ideal catheter for retrograde tunneling insertion, Amecath Permthane X Split Dual Lumen Catheter is available as a long-term hemodialysis catheter for adult usage.

•  The catheter is made of a soft, long-term radiopaque carbothane material to increase patient comfort.
• The catheter has a Split tip design; it consists of one catheter tube that ends with 2 fully independent catheter tubes to enhance the free floating of each lumen preventing fibrin sheath growth and reducing blood recirculation to ensure maximum flow, and a cuff to secure the device more firmly and lower the risk of catheter-associated infections.

PXDLC is offered in 2 different shapes: straight tube and pre-curved tube to respond to the patient's anatomy and comfort, the cosmetic appearance, and the insertion site.
