Amecath T Dual Lumen Catheter is available as a short-term hemodialysis catheter for adult and pediatric usage.

It is made of radiopaque polyurethane material, firm enough for ease of insertion and advancement but will soften once at body temperature to become compliant with the patient's anatomy, thus, increasing patient comfort.

The catheter has a soft tapered tip to reduce the risk of injury, increasing patient safety, and multiple side holes to decrease positional occlusion of the catheter near the vessel wall, which improves flow rates.

DLC is offered in 3 different shapes for adults (straight tube and extension lines, straight tube and J-shaped extension lines, and pre-curved tube and straight extension lines) and 2 shapes for pediatrics (straight tube and extension lines, straight tube and J-shaped extension lines) to respond to the patient's anatomy and comfort, the cosmetic appearance, and the insertion site.

The size ranges between 6 Fr to 16 Fr and length ranges between 8 Cm to 20 Cm. Catheters are inserted using the traditional Seldinger technique. The kit includes a Nitinol guidewire with dispenser and a Y-connector by default, and the guiding syringe is an available option.

Step Tip Dual Lumen Catheter - SDLC

Amecath Step Tip Soft Dual Lumen Catheter is available as a short-term hemodialysis catheter for adult usage.

• It is made of a soft radiopaque polyurethane material to increase patient comfort.
• The catheter has Step tip design that reduces blood recirculation to guarantee maximum flow.
• It comes with a hollow stiffener to make the catheter stiffer and to help introduce the catheter over the wire.

• It is made of a soft radiopaque polyurethane material to increase patient comfort.
• The catheter has side holes with Smart groove design to protect them from sticking to the vessel wall during blood suction, Hemostatic valves to prevent blood leakage and to reduce the risk of infection, and a soft tapered tip to reduce the risk of injury increasing patient safety.
